Actually, compared to the stories I've heard, it was EASY to buy our first house! Having a great realtor really does make all the difference!!! When we first started looking for a realtor, I was told to do my research and contact a few. Well, I contacted 5, and Hal Sweasey's team was the first to send me an auto-response and the first to contact me person-to-person (the rest really fell flat in comparison). They quickly paired me up with Graeme Baldwin, and we are so happy they did! Graeme was easy to talk to, understood all my preferences with just one conversation, and never made me feel silly for asking an obvious question. He was available to us 24/7 and responded to voicemails/emails/texts almost always within 1 hour or less. If we needed something ("Graeme we found a house that we want to see tomorrow morning", "Graeme we have questions for the other realtor about...", "Graeme we're really concerned about...", "Graeme we need this specific type of inspector out there asap", etc) he would get the answer, the appointment, whatever it was, within hours. We had a 30 day escrow without any hiccups. Everything went smoothly thanks to Graeme being on top of it. He would check in with us almost everyday with a new update or to make sure we signed the document he sent over and explained what it was. He constantly reassured us about the order and time line of the upcoming steps to close. He never rushed us in our decision making. I can't tell you enough about how great this guy is! If anyone needs a realtor, definitely go with Hal Sweasey's team- specifically Graeme Baldwin if possible. The rest of the team is amazing too.
